well... yesterday was an interesting night... spent it with a whole lotta guys and a whole lotta basketball... excuse me if the nba draft isn't exactly my idea of "must see tv", but hey, chacun son gout.... to each his own. was supposed to go over to kalam's to watch a movie with kalam and his friends, but since they came late, it ended up being me, kal, boy genius, and all his friends watching the draft. so i took a little nap. after a while, i went on a "date" with danny to the lcbo (what a way to win a girl's heart!) and got "blacklisted" from that location b/c the cashier guy recognised danny (who's 19) and refused to sell him anything since he had been there earlier with a friend who was underage. sheesh. holy really-should-have-punched-him-out-ness! oh well, i'm not really that big of a drinker anyhow... but big news! danny and i are going out now, right? heh heh ;) anyway, after coming back from our little excursion, we come back to a house with yet even more guys, and kalam tells me that since he has only been able to get a hold of simon (a really nice eng from queen's too!), we're going to go watch/play basketball at devry (i didn't even know there was a devry here... it's actually across the street from the heartland's loblaws). yeah, so even more basketball, but it was more interesting to watch, talked a bit with simon, the weather was comfortable, and you know, there was some eye-candy there... so... yeah... (not that i'm a superficial person or anything...)

after a while, we headed back to their house to watch a movie (antwone fisher), but i kinda didn't want to watch the movie (not in a drama movie mood) and i needed to rant at dave, so i ended up hanging out with him for a few hours (his friends had all went home). i swear, that boy dislikes conversation that involves thinking! grrr. when the movie was done, ed came down and started playing dave on his playstation... street fighter, what else would you expect from him? i played a little bit too and have decided that it's way more fun when the game is button-mash-friendly (capcom vs. marvel) and i get full stars (while he has practically none) and i'm on beginnner mode... heh heh. i like choosing the guys who take out his opponents' entire power bar with just one punch... cheap playing is fun! (thanks for letting me win... :p)

but there's only so much video games i can take... so when ed came back to challenge dave again after winning an inuyasha doll (will have to watch with jess some time) on ebay, i started to nap a bit... so tired... basement SO freaking COLD... and i didn't get home 'til around 4:45am... and sadly, i bet david stayed up a few more hours later just to play war. boys... what's with the obsession with video games?
