just had a nice long conversation with gracie <3. she's only been gone for a week and i miss her already! but i'm glad things in kingston are going well and that there'll be tons of conversation fodder for when i come up to visit... hahaha. i must admit that i felt a bit of a pang when i heard of all the stuff going on in k-town. i feel a little left out that their lives are running just as smoothly without me! :( i better not get replaced, ok!?! but then again, i'm going to be meeting a lot of new people and stuff, so life will be moving on for me as well, i suppose.

saw the movie hero today with anika and ebru. it was along the same lines of crouching tiger and i liked it just as much. the cinematography, music and colours were just gorgeous, plus i liked the re-teaming of maggie cheung and tony leung again (from in the mood for love). after the movie, anika and i were introduced to "the legend of the drunken master". i'm ashamed to say that i hadn't seen that movie 'till now and it was sheer hilarity (due to anita mui's stepmom role). i still say that she wasn't pregnant and was going to steal a random baby... :p

things this summer have been pretty good. i went to a total of FOUR weddings (toby, tracey, harold, anika's mum) and had a blast at all of them. (the pics'll get posted eventually, don't worry) it doesn't even feel like i'll be going to school next week, it hasn't sunk in yet. I DON'T WANNA GO!

ok, gotta go now. lizzie's over to watch my sassy girl. later, yo.

ok, ok! i'm going to start regularly blogging again soon!

maybe not tonight b/c i just got back a little while ago (foolproof at ju's) and i'm dead tired. i've been out pretty much every night, trying to make use of what little summer i have left. but it's been a grand summer (roughly 1.8 x 10^12 times better than the last) and i have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. except for those creepy old subway men. and perhaps the weather.

anyhow, i'll post pics in due time.
