omg!!! i totally forgot to mention that i'm now in the proud possession of a divx dvd player!!! so if you guys have any good movies on your computer/on cd, please send them my way! (these days (since i'm longer on a university network) i download more tv shows than movies, so the movies i have are pretty old.)

ok, to clarify my last post: [possible grossness alert] yes, i had to leave the exam room near the end of the exam to actually throw up, but i came back and finished the exam... no unpleasant surprises were left on my exam for the prof. (heh. although i kept on thinking that if i did, would they give me an automatic perfect grade b/c no one would want to mark it? it's like the time where our stats teacher told us that he gave this girl a perfect grade b/c he accidentally dropped it in the toilet and couldn't mark it) and no, i wasn't trying to skip out on the exam, felix. it was a really sunny day (i think the first really nice day of the year) and i don't really deal well with a lot of direct sunlight (i get faint, nauseous, and headache-y)... so pretty much i got really sick en route to school (i actually had to get off at a couple of subway stops too - it kinda sucks very few stations have washrooms) by trying to study on the bus while sitting in a seat that had the sun shining directly on my face. (sounds lame, doesn't it?) [here endeth the grossness]
so... i can't wait until everybody comes home! wait, when IS everybody coming home? here's what i want to do for the next few months (while trying to find employment): shop. eat out (bonus if it's sushi or steaks). four words: taboo and cranium nights. full-fledged girls' nights once more (i thought of a theme! ugly t-shirts nite - inspired by that fobby shirt mei gave me...) play softball. finish (start?) decorating my room. imbibe a little. watch dvds until my brain goes mushy. NY? make my own t-shirts. find myself a boy by hanging around the square one bus terminal... joking! (yes, that was directed to you, brandon!) hang out with my cousins. bake. dancing myself silly (really, is there any other way for me to dance?) to retro music. actually go on msn occasionally. email/correspond with people. more leisure reading... [add more here]
it's so much fun doing all this planning rather than actually studying. can you think of anything else to add to the list?
speaking of lists and wasting time: last night i decided to write out a list of qualities that i'm looking for in a guy. there are three categories: requirements, complementary (to me) traits, and "nice-to-haves". my brother actually suggested this to me - try it out sometime - it's quite interesting to see what comes to mind first. it's also interesting to see how certain people i've encountered have influenced the list (bonus marks if you can guess which ppl prompted certain items to be added!) i'll post my list up later, but i want to see first what you guys would think were the first few things that popped up into my head.

oh, forgot to mention this in the last post: major props to tomlin for having a tgs t-shirt!!! i really want one now!!! ooooh, and a trogdor one too.
exam stats:
exams finished: 3 exams pending: 2 exams that were actually fun to study for: 1 exams where hand seized up: 2 exams where i threw up: 1 countdown to end of year 1 (again): 7 days...
anyway, gotta go watch ANTM now and then study for anatomy.

hey, so you guys know how much i hate "dirty" birds (e.g. seagulls, pigeons, crows, etc.) because of their tendencies to poop on people and swoop dangerously low (and possibly try to peck out my eyes)?
well, at softball practice today... my eyes are still intact, but... yeah. ew. (i think the last time this happened was at broadacres during lunchtime... oh, grade 3...)
other than that, practice was fun. but i'm thinking that i probably won't try to bring any texts with me while i'm in the outfield. it tends to hinder me from running for the ball.
ok guys, best episode of this season yet! (i only wish i could have watched this one on girls' night with the gang...)
sorry for the non-bloggingness, but things have been relatively slow due to exams. had my first one on tuesday (yay! no more sociology!) and sadly have 4 more coming up... i'm getting so excited at the prospect of no more school/studying -- so close!!!
in the meantime, i'll be sequestered in my house for the next two weeks or so. make sure you drop me a line to let me know how your exams/work/lives are going, alright? later.
p.s. forgot to post this last week, but i had a great time with the girls (and kalam! :p ) last week. played cranium, learned what the playdough smells like (don't worry, what happens in the basement, stays in the basement -- i'll never tell!), and learned a little about the birds and bees from ju! hee. oh, and marco? i learned how to play texas hold 'em! (it's fun, until testosterone takes over.)
