things you should know before going to watch the da vinci code movie:
[blogger's personal feelings on said subject]

1. the book on which it is based? sucked. and no, i'm not even talking about the preposterous conspiracy theories -- it was just very poorly written.
2. sitting through it seems a LOT longer than it actually is. seriously.
3. i totally would have kicked the canes. just saying.
4. tom hanks probably knew that the movie was going to suck b/c every line delivery seems very squinty and pained.
5. audrey tautou is a pretty woman. very nice, delicately-featured face. i actually liked her in this movie.
6. you will fidget.
7. you will roll your eyes to your theater-seat neighbour. <-- it wasn't just me.
8. albinos are supposed to have red eyes. (right?) ok, upon researching, i concede that albino humans do not have red eyes per se, HOWEVER some of them do have eyes appearing red or purple (as i've seen on campus) depending on the amount of pigmentation. the majority have light blue eyes.
9. too much exposition. cheesy dialogue (straight from the book???) <-- by this, i meant "did they lift the dialogue straight from the book?"
10. in hollywood, french cop = jean reno.
11. having ian mckellen in a movie is a good thing.
