ahhhh, is there anything better than eating bacon and garlic mashed potatoes at 12:57am?? i think not! :)

also equally as nice is the fact that i've been sleeping in obscenely late these past few days - it's nice to be finally free from this wretched school year. of course, this bliss will soon turn to "haveyoufoundajobyet? haveyoufoundajobyet?" from my parents, but i'm going to enjoy this for as long as i can. i think i deserve it - i mean, had i stayed in queen's, i would have just finished off a BScH degree, and i did just as much work here at UT as i would've in queen's so.... I GET TO REST NOW. :p

(just don't tell dave. the poor dear's got a huge meeting tmw afternoon, and he might not take kindly to my talk of freedom and relaxation. sorry hun! keep working hard! love you! :D )

i caught a few minutes of flavor of love this weekend. remember all the crazies from top model and other reality shows? you haven't seen CRAZY until you've witnessed the antics of this show's new york (the girl's nickname). it's pretty much the bachelor, but way more ghetto and featuring flavor flav, that rapper from public enemy who wears that clock around his neck. heh, remember homestarloween 2000? flav is also considered to be the world's most homely man ever (by this blogger, anyhow) although this dubious distinction is contested by dave, who thinks snoop should win that title. starsky and hutch was on tv this evening, and i must say i disagree - the man knows how to work the pimp suits. ;) anyways, go check out this youtube link featuring the antics of the infamous new york or watch some of the clips on the vh1 site. lemme just leave you with a little quote from the reunion show: "i ain't gonna spit, b/c i got WAY more mothaf---in' class than you. you know what, i AM, however, gonna f---in' B*TCHSLAP yo' mothaf---in' ass!" all class, that one. :) it also appears that there's going to be a second season of this stuff. awesome.

things i am excited about:
- jenne's upcoming wedding! ames and i are going to be greeter-and-gift-taking people at her wedding and it's going to be a blast. i'm still working on convincing the bride to give us a cut of the monetary gifts, but i may have to try appealing to duncan instead...
- clara's upcoming wedding! it's been too long since i've seen my darling bun and allison.
- finales! top model (please be either joanie or danielle) and veronica mars (this season started off meh, but the second half's been great)
- praise night at mississauga cpc! da vinci code stuff at delta!
- finishing off the rest of the mashed potatoes tmw at dinner. or maybe lunch. or breakfast. (they were darned good, ok?!)
