just a couple of links that i've found diverting while at work...

w's interview w/katie holmes <-- very creepy, she's turned into a robot!



hehe, you know your softball team's awesome when you react to a tied game outcome as you would if you had just won the championships! :p "WE DIDN'T LOSE! WE DIDN'T LOSE! WOOOOOOOO!!!!" had a doubleheader yesterday at 4 and 6pm... we were lucky that it didn't rain when we were playing, but the diamond was soooooo puddle-y. actually, despite the sopping wet shoes, it was kinda fun sloshing through the infield to get to the ball... plus, the added bonus of having mud-specked legs and clothes is that it makes you look way more hardcore than you actually are! you get dirty without all the bother of diving or even bending over for the ball! :p

had a great weekend in general. saw wedding crashers on saturday and it did not disappoint - vince vaughn is genius at talking about maple syrup! in the evening, went over to paulina's for a bbq and saw the girls (and hasib & felix!). heh, the best part of the night was listening to karen try to persuade hasib to come to her US clinic - "i promise i'll clean the wand for you! and i'm sure the gel has antimicrobial properties too.... (*ahem* but probably not...)"

then on sunday we had our doubleheader (lost the first one, tied the second) and then went to jack astor's for dinner. haven't been there since the time i won that bet with benita... :p (heh, remember the terms? you were *so* wrong!) anyway, it was just such a great weekend of spending time with friends - actually, this whole summer has been so unexpectedly wonderful... thanks guys! :)
