playing softball in 30-degree weather should be outlawed. if it weren't for the obvious difficulties to the game, i'd totally advocate the planting of trees dispersed through the diamond and outfield so as to provide sweet, sweet shade.

as a result of the unfortunate shade-lacking, i had a bit of a headache all afternoon... which was eventually miraculously cured after i got all 20 of those chicken wings in me... you know, i see a trend here:

ailment: stomach cramps
rx: chicken thigh
result: delicious and no more stabbing pain

ailment: sun stroke
rx: chicken wings
result: saucy and disappearance of headache

conclusion: it seems that chicken may have mysterious, curative powers. however, more first-hand poultry-therapy research must be done in order to confirm this -- there is a chance that the therapeutic effect could be attributed to the extra-strength tylenols that i had taken on both occasions.


anyhow, i am the indisputable queen of wings at delta, atleast -- i even out-ate some of the guys and had enough room for an ice cream sunday! (hmmm... maybe i shouldn't be bragging about this...)

westenders - how did we get so dirty? must curb these mind-in-gutter tendencies! (you boys are such bad influences on me and ames!)
nat, felix - bon voyage! fun and safe trip to ny and bc, respectively.
dave - focus and be productive! i've got incentives for you! (riesens)
