sorry that the blog's been on pause lately, i actually started this post last week, but just couldn't find anything to say. still can't, really.

so things in my life have been going fairly well. it's so wonderful to see, not just the numbers of delta growing, but an actual sense of closeness and love within the whole group. i really hope that i get the chance to really get to know everybody there, and not just have a superficial sort of friendship. --- but hey, you know what else i realised? i don't actually know much about people, fact-wise. i mean, i honestly probably would not be able to tell you what your favourite colour was, what exactly you do (school or work-wise), or what your favourite song is. i guess this just shows what is important to me: not you. hee! ok, what i really meant to say is that (for the most part) i focus more on what people are like, not what they like. although i'd rather know the person, i think the latter is also fairly important -- trust me, it's kinda embarrassing to be put on the spot while you're introducing someone and then realise that you don't actually know much about the person that would be a good factual icebreaker... not that i've experienced this or anything... ahem.

so anyway, if you see an increase in random questions from me like "so... you're working where? ... and you do what in your spare time?", now you know why: so i can introduce you properly. :p

oooh! something i learned last week that fills me full of rage: after experiencing yet another one of those hang-up calls during girls' night, anika told me that it could be b/c telemarketer machines these days will dial several numbers at once, and once somebody answers the phone, all the other lines get disconnected. grrrrr! (well, it's either that or a creepy stalker.)

antm comment 1: ok, the girl is definitely not as llama-ish in the show (i should have known, those initial pics on the site always make the girls look terrible).
antm comment 2: "you know how i feel about no-neck monsters..." hee!
