went out to atomica tonight on a "date" with gracie (we have so much in common!) to celebrate the end of classes. it's this swanky italian cafe/bar that's lit up with changing-colour lights, and it's pretty tasty though slightly overpriced. we both had some mochaccinos, smoked salmon bruschetta, really yummy tiramasu, and i had some sangria. it was a nice chance to just kick back and get all dolled up. haha, i borrowed grace's camel-coloured ho boots, and honestly, i have no idea how girls walk in those things! i think grace has only really worn them once. i mean, i can deal with two inches, but three inches kill especially when they're pointy-toed! sheesh, the things women subject themselves to so they can look good... but i must say, we both looked pretty hot! :p ok, not hot, but atleast people didn't look at as like, "what are they doing in here?" dressing up: one of the fun things about being a girl!

after a painful walk back to the apartment, we watched kill bill, during which hasib came by. we watched a bit of family guy and daria, and now here i am, writing about my evening to you!

anyway, i'm pretty happy that classes are all over, though i'm not looking forward to finals at all. and though i miss my family and a "select few" people, i don't want to leave kingston yet. it's so nice, and removed from "real life". ah well. life just feels good right now. not spectacular, but i'm content. *

* correction: i was content until just now. it'll blow over in 5 minutes, but right now i feel slightly hostile. just slightly though -- perhaps "a twinge irritated" would be a better description? or is it really more a morass of annoyance? feh, you don't get that much credit. anyhow, unfounded or not, i have no patience with you. until you can say the right thing (which you won't, btw), leave me alone. yes, i'm being unreasonable, but i like my angst-free life right now.

ok, i'm good again. smiley once more! :) i just gotta let things go, right danny? (chapter 3 - what drives you?)
hrm. i can totally see how guys can be totally confused with girls, what with the crazy mood swings and all! (goodness, i can be such a... jerk... at times. sorry guys! :p )
