i like this "eating out" concept... :p
went out with grace, jen, and jeanie for a late dinner (around 11pm) at wooden heads. we were supposed to introduce jeanie and jen to atomica, but when we got in, they said that the kitchen was closed. grace had actually called ahead of time to check, and they told her the kitchen closes at midnight. the waitress told us that apparently it was "too busy, so the kitchen closed up earlier today"... i don't know, but doesn't that sound kinda counter-intuitive? but it's all good, they still got to briefly see the cool changing-colour lights anyway! wooden heads was sooo yummy. since we had eaten a bit earlier, grace, jen and i shared this pizza with smoked salmon, sweet onion, portabello mushrooms, and (apparently) lobster curry. jeanie had something else - i forget what it was, but it was good too. however, the best part of that snack/meal was definitely the dessert. it was an apple dessert pizza with this awesome caramel sauce on top..... mmmmm... to die for! and surprisingly only $4.50! if you ever come up to kingston, you have to try it!

the earlier part of my day was pretty uneventful... i went to campus and studied a bit at stauffer. ooooh! i didn't fall asleep! (a major feat for me, let me tell you!)

oh wait! something eventful DID happen: i saw marco!!!! (henceforward, the rest of this post is devoted to my favourite only child. to clarify: not my own only child, but my favourite person without siblings. :p) anyway, i was pretty excited to see marco (was lending some pharm notes to him) since i never really see him these days besides psych class... which i kinda didn't go to for the last week or so b/c i had too many 15% assignments/tests due... but yeah, it was good seeing him, scruff and all! actually, i think you looked alright with the unshaven look (most guys look pretty pitiful - heck, i bet even i have more hair on my lip than some of those asian guys... sheesh!), i'm a big fan of the "ruggedly handsome" thing myself. as long as those guys don't end up looking too dirty. but back to the subject at hand: m.a.r.c.o. ;) it's a shame that we didn't get to meet up that much this year except for a few times at alanna/karolina's - we'll have to meet up together with them in the summer/next year. oh, hope you have fun in china! bring me back something cool! hey, so did you miss me and grace this year? haha, i bet you didn't! i bet the real reason you went for facilitator last year was b/c you wouldn't be able to deal with living with us!!! s'ok, i understand... but let me just say that our neighbours haven't complained about us yet! though, for the record, grace and i have never randomly entered their apartments and shed our hair everywhere... nor have we tried taking things from their rooms to see if they notice if anything's missing/out of place... (not that we did those things to you last year... *ahem*) on second thought, maybe it was a smart move for you... hahaha. :) ok, i'm getting kinda tired now, so i'm gonna go to sleep. i don't think i've been writing too coherantly this past while now! anyhow... so in conclusion, marco is awesome, so was the dessert pizza, and i'll definitely be seeing more of the both of them in the near future! :)
